Putting the “F” Back in You

by JHSEsq

You should be prepared to be very moved by today’s Post of the Day. Bryan is the blog’s author that is named Putting the “F” Back in You. And when the blog was nominated we laughed at its name. We actually expected to read a humorous post. But we did not. As a matter of fact we can think of no post that we have ever read more serious than this one. Bryan is a hero. His day didn’t seem to be any different than any other day, but then, “I pulled into the driveway of a new customer, a one time treatment for fleas. As I got out of my truck, I heard a man yelling at the top of his voice, calling someone a bitch, a whore, white trash, scum; and who knows what else. As I got to the door, I waited for the yelling to cease. I then heard what sounded like a slap. All kinds of thoughts were running through my mind at this point; like opening the door unannounced and finding out who this man was beating on.”

What did Bryan do? What would you do? We won’t tell you more except that we all have defining moments in life. We get involved or turn away. We can honestly say that we would not be honest to say we would have reacted the way Bryan did. Until you are in someone else’s shoes, you just do not know. The post is titled Can You Help Me Please? There has been no better post that The Rising Blogger has awarded, in our opinion. Bryan states in his profile, “Be truthful from your heart to your mouth when you speak.” But he is so much more than a truthful guy. We our very proud to have had the chance to award this post. Bravo, Bryan!

Bryan is my “everyday” hero, he is true to his word, and shameless wouldn’t take any credit for what he did…he doesn’t see it as saving anyone just doing what he does…….. and that’s only one reason why I call him my hero..
Kudos baby

You picked a great post, Bud. Powerful and real. As I told Bryan on his blog, he is a credit to the human race.

Outstanding post. Outstanding winner.

I couldn’t find a way to post a message on Bryan’s blog. Perhaps I overlooked it. A powerful post. I sure hope he’s able to help the woman get away. So sad that anyone has to ever intervene in such a situation. Would that they never happened.
