Mom’s Crazy Life

by JHSEsq

What we have in today’s post is a mom with an attitude. Dani is the author. She is married to a cop and has six kids. If that isn’t enough in her life, she happens to work the 11PM to 7AM shift as a nurse. We read her introduction and we had thoughts of taking a nap because her life sounds exhausting. How she does all this and blog as well, has got to be written off to insanity.

The blog is called Mom’s Crazy Life. We think the title is an understatement. Dani has a lot to say about a variety of subjects from hungry children abroad to taking the time to explain useful medical information. The post we chose is titled Sometimes You Feel Like a Nut. It amazed us that strangers feel they have the right to comment on how many children she has. She writes, “but makes it harder is snidey ass comments from rude ass people. I decided to be a ‘nice mom’ and decided to take the kids out for a hotdog and French fries at a little joint we have here in town. They have an outdoor patio so it makes my life easier as far as the seating arrangements go. Well, I am in line trying to order food and the kids are standing behind me being good, when a lady behind me says, ‘Are they all yours?’” Trust us, that lady should have been sorry that she asked the question, but unfazed the stranger gets even ruder with our crazy mom. It was a BIG mistake.

We think if you enjoy a good mom’s blog that you won’t be disappointed. The post was written on April 16, 2008. The Rising Blogger is happy to award Dani our award for Post of the Day!
