Magdalena’s Revenge

by JHSEsq

When nominating today’s winner, a former Post of the Day award recipient told us, “She uses such evocative, beautiful prose that she can often stun me with the intensity of her words and images.” After visiting Magdalena’s Revenge, we agree.

There are no badges in the sidebar. There is no “about me” information on the site. Rather, it is all about the words.

In Taking Note, the author blurs the line between poetry and prose. The result is a superb ode to love: “It’s a good balance, though, in these uncertain times. We’ve had uncertain times before. Times where I was sick or he was gone, or I was in a fit of rage for no reason other than having a uterus, or my sanity took a vacation or he was a butthole; as men sometimes enjoy as a pastime.”

Visit Magdalena’s site and experience her incredible words and the manner in which she crafts her writings for yourself. We think you’ll agree that she is deserving of the Post of the Day Award.

Congratulations, Magdalena!
