What could a twenty-one-year-old say to stir this writer’s soul today? Sitting whimsically on the floor with a smarter-than-her-years-kinda-look, we find the author of a blog called the.laid.back.buddhist writing of powerful emotions beyond her perceived youthful element. Surprisingly, she reeled me into this story with every step through the upstairs door.

I will tell you enough to say that what she found was not scary, but profoundly grownup and universally familiar. A precarious walk on creeky stairs with ups and downs and heart-stopping bumps. Would she have the courage to open the door?
Would you? While reading this post I was reminded that age is sometimes irrelevant to wisdom. The writer of this blog has learned to embrace her fears. And her loves.
