Drowning Pisces

by JHSEsq

It’s cold in Colorado, and Gina, at Drowning Pisces, is in love. It’s not your run-of-the-mill kind of love though – she’s revisiting a passionately appreciated love from a time long ago. Her love is sleek and smooth and shiny. It’s powerful. It’s intuitive. It lights up when she touches it and it always performs masterfully. Yes it’s a rare kind of love indeed – and one that’s stood the test of time and many other relationships.
Gina started blogging a couple of months ago. She’s laying it all out there for us. Some of her work is so startlingly raw I curl up in painful empathy, and sometimes, it’s just plain funny. She does them both extremely well.
I love it when she speaks techie.
“In another life, this now Jill of All Trades-Mistress of None…was part of the Research and Development team of AT&T Cable…now Comcast. I spent many days and nights writing specs and testing modems readying them for their debut on the network. I made sure they could carry the loads that would be asked of them. I taught them to release their IP addresses when asked to, not just when they felt like it and I always made sure they were powerful. Some did not perform, could not perform. Others were way too eager to download.”
Today The Rising Blogger Post of the Day is Drowning Pisces’ I’m In Love.

Dang, this writer has range! One day she’s testing her modem in blog public, the next she’s routing phone calls for “the party to whom she is speaking,” and then she’s out stalking the wild ellipsis. Personally, I think she’s four people. Just sayin’.
