Cardiogirl: 19% Body Fat 100% Fun

by JHSEsq on October 13, 2007

Cardiogirl: 19% body fat 100% fun is a blog written by who else? Cardiogirl. She writes what she calls a humor blog. While is does have a great sense of humor, she can be very serious as well. She is a stay at home mom and wife, her powers of observation are acute. In her post of October 10, 2007 titled Is it All How You Look at It?, she tells the story of finally realizing the type of relationship she always wanted to have with her mother, only to have fate play a nasty trick on her. She writes, “I was never extremely close to either one of my parents — not the way I would have liked to have been or the way I thought it should have been. There are a variety of reasons that don’t really matter now. However, for about a year after I had my first child, my mom and I shared a very special bond. It was exactly what I had thought it should have been all along. I think it was due mostly to our shared experience of marriage and motherhood.” We think you’ll be moved by this post as we were. Congratulations from The Rising Blogger Cardiogirl! You have written our Post of the Day!

Wow, thank you. You’re very kind!

I’m so surprised that you would pick such a somber post, but I suppose real life is somber and sticky. Regardless, I really appreciate the award and the interest.

Thanks again!
