There is something about Belle. She is the author of a blog called Diary of a Housewife. Belle is a mother and wife, I suppose her blog’s name tells you that, and she writes incredibly honest posts. Some are very interesting, while others are really not. But through it all what really is fleshed out, is her honesty. Honest about Belle and her husband Jeff. Some days Belle’s in a great mood, some not so much. I think the post we chose from September 8, 2007 titled My Dad and is one of her best. Belle lives in the United Kingdom and tells us of her father, “I’m a Daddy’s girl. Always have been. Always will be. My Dad is a product of his age, a man’s man, a hands off father of the sixties. Up early and out of the house before we went to school. Home just in time to say goodnight. Bedtime stories? Women’s work. Bath-time duties? Once in a blue moon.
