She says “I am working on making the world a better place by opening my eyes and heart to things that really matter…” In her beautifully written post from September 21, 2007 entitled The Jigsaw Puzzle she tells an endearing story of how a lonely little piece of a jigsaw puzzle just didn’t fit in anywhere. Unhappy because she is different, she decides to strike out on her own and discovers that she is not so different after all. There were others just like her… pieces that didn’t quite fit into the ordinary box… beautiful pieces that had a box of their own. This is a must read for anyone who has ever felt like they didn’t belong… like a misfit in the world around them. Congratulations, Skipper! I just started reading this particular blog and have found it to be honest and forthright…I love it!
I loved this post when I first read it on Beth’s blog, in fact so much that I linked to it on my own. It a wonderful story of discovering who you are and where you belong. Beautiful – a keeper!
Great to see Beth has been honoured here too. She was one of my first blogging friends and I love what and how she writes.
