A Piece of Peace

Ruby is an inspi­ra­tional blog­ger who has cho­sen the road less trav­eled. Diag­nosed with breast can­cer in March 2007, she made the deci­sion not to have treat­ment or surgery but instead opted to live with her con­di­tion in peace and hap­pi­ness. Her blog, A Piece of Peace, is as the name sug­gests, a quiet reflec­tive place of accep­tance and love.A self­less blog­ger, Ruby shares from the heart with her mes­sages of hope that leaves us all aspir­ing to become bet­ter human beings. In her post from Sep­tem­ber 18, 2007 Heal­ing Pow­ers Of For­give­ness, she says “When we can love our­selves for who we are, when we can look at our­selves and let oth­ers see us, when we can talk about what has been hurt­ing us or ways we have hurt oth­ers, this is when we can begin to take off the masks we wear…” The Ris­ing Blog­ger is proud to award Ruby our Post of the Day!
