Joe in the Corner

by JHSEsq

Joe Telliard is a very funny writer. But one thing we know for sure is that Joe will never be a sports writer, since he hates sports. Yet he did well in a fantasy football league. Go figure? Is this like researching about all the teams and then wagering on teams based on uniform color? The blog is Joe in the Corner. In his post dated September 1, 2007 titled I’m Not Even in My Own Fantasy, Joe writes, “To clear up any misunderstandings that you may have about me, as a kid, I hated watching sports. I spent my alloted television time watching Captain Picard engage Warp 9, and fight off Romulan battle cruisers. Later, I got into watching films and now have a somewhat encyclopedic knowledge of good films. But if you ask me who Mookie Blaylock played for, I am almost positive that he was a one of the first African American’s to win the American Open Badminton Championship. LaDanian Tomlinson is my landlord, I think. Peyton Manning was married to a professor of mine in college.” Whether you love football or not, The Rising Blogger is sure you’ll love our Post of the Day. Congrats, Joe!
