The Lazy Blogger

by JHSEsq

The Lazy Blogger is not very lazy. He claims, “I don’t do MEME’s ~ I don’t do H.N.T.‘s ~ I don’t “100 Things about me” ~ I don’t do Chain Posts ~ I don’t even respond to the posts on my blog (unless someone sends me an E-mail and asks me a question) ~ That’s RIGHT… I am the LAZY Blogger! But what I do try and do on my blog, is to post at least once a week. On those posts, I show places I have been to and make comments about the things I thought were unique about those places.” But what the Lazy Blogger does do is travel. And with his blog Lazy Blogger takes the reader along for some amazing rides. He gives just the right amount of historical information and enough of his personal opinion to give a unique perspective to those of us who had viewed his blog. While deciding which post to award, his post of July 14, 2007 The City of Napa — Napa Valley California caught our eye because of what it wasn’t. It wasn’t about wine tasting. Not that we would have not enjoyed a commentary a la “Sideways”, but as for LZ touring Napa and tasting wine he states, “For our treat instead of doing the wine tasting in all the vineyards there, we decided to have lunch in a little place that was right downtown on 1st. Street.” It is a solid post. The Rising Blogger salutes the Lazy Blogger who has written our Post of the Day!

He has a point. All these memes and lists–they can be fun, but often they are just annoying and you feel guilty if you don’t do it.
