Twisted Sister…Totally Pissed Off

A very mov­ing post we read today on the blog Twisted Sis­ter: Totally Pissed Off. It is about the trou­ble women have meet­ing Mr. Right. At first, it appears to be just another arti­cle about the “do’s and don’ts” writ­ten by some mar­ried woman. But shortly into the post from August 2, 2007, Sick of Being Sin­gle, the reader real­izes that this story is much more pro­found. Here is the set up: “And so this got me think­ing about my niece Tanya. You may recall I men­tioned her in an ear­lier post. Tanya was diag­nosed with breast can­cer at age 26 and shortly after her mas­tec­tomy, her boyfriend left her. He claimed he was unable to cope with her ongo­ing ill­ness and couldn’t see a future for their rela­tion­ship. She was dev­as­tated.” The authors are sis­ters named Dawn and Ann who reside in Canada. The Ris­ing Blog­ger is proud to award these Twisted Sis­ters our Post of the Day award.
