Trav’s Thoughts

by JHSEsq on July 21, 2007

One of the great things about reviewing for The Rising Blogger when we seem to almost “stumble” into an blog author who seems sincere and is likeable. Although not the winning post, we were very moved by Travis’ post from Saturday about his friend Dixie’s son Matt joining The Marines. We also happened to read Bond of the Big Leather Couch who had a similar post on Thursday. So before we go forward let us join today’s author Travis and also former Rising Blogger award winner Bond, to ask you to “Please Visit Dixie and Matt and wish them well as he leaves for Parris Island and The Marines on Sunday, [tomorrow] July 22, 2007. Just click HERE.” Travis seems like a great guy and has a very entertaining blog simply called Trav’s Thoughts. The post that caught our attention was from June 25, 2007 titled Random Tuesday. It is a simple post about running out of peanut butter, to spraying himself with the new spray in his kitchen, to his crush Valerie Bertinelli has a new Jenny Craig commercial and she just winked at me! No…she did NOT wink at everyone! She winked at ME!” Travis you have style and talent. Plus you have written our Post of the Day!

Travis is a gentle man full of fun as evidenced by his dance comments (Dancing With the Stars, So You Think You Can Dance); very caring about fellow bloggers; a very talented creative writer!
A very good choice!
