In a post she also had pub­lished in the Seat­tle Post-Intelligencer, Jenny Black­man shows her pow­er­ful obser­va­tion skills and sense of rea­son. The post from July 12, 2007 titled Deep Reflec­tion on a Wad­ing Pool and Jenny expresses sim­ply what she believes is OVER-parenting, “I am con­vinced that if we par­ents would just CALM DOWN FOR A SECOND, pick up our books, and ignore the chil­dren (well, except the babies… I’d never advo­cate ignor­ing the babies!) the kids would get along famously and have a rip-roaring good time.” The Ris­ing Blog­ger salutes Jenny and her blog Absolutely Bananas.
