Ladies In the Red

by JHSEsq

Now we know this doesn’t sound like a cheery site exactly, but Ladies In the Red make even bankruptcy sound halfway survivable. In fact, they’ve been through it and lived to tell the tall red tale. And with a sense of humor. This site is full of practical advice when things get financially tough and lots of wisdom. In Story of a Girl Gone Bust we find savvy ideas for those who’ve lost everything. She writes, “Ironically, up until it went bust, the Company was doing very well. We had an offer to buy it for a large sum of money, which we declined (I don’t dwell on that), and we had orders to supply some of the largest Companies in the UK. So far so good… Until we placed an enormous order in China to supply our biggest customers and the Government stopped the import of the goods. Not just our goods, but nationally.”

And so she slipped into foreign territory without a plastic card to her name. The scary thing is, it could happen to you and me. But there is hope and this lady tells the story well. “Having moved back in with my parents I can tell you with confidence that while a living situation post-repossession may not be one you’d choose, there’s hope and inspiration in starting all over again.“
Congratulations to Ladies In the Red. You are The Rising Blogger’s Post of the Day.

We think you’re doing just fine.

Just because I’m broke doesn’t mean I have to miserable with it and your award just helped me to maintain my smile. Thank you!
