Mostly True Stories

by JHSEsq

While you don’t have to be in the medical profession to enjoy a blog written by a nurse, it probably helps. What you don’t need a degree in is deciding what is humorous. And the nurse who simply calls herself “Working Girl” is both funny and sassy. She describes herself by giving us her resume, “Registered nurse, yoga teacher, mother, passionate but somewhat inept vegetable gardener, divinity school drop out, former caterer, former waitress (cocktail and food), former bartender, former cook, former tour guide, former telemarketer, former make-up artist for mannequins…” And to be fair, she does link to explain medical terms and the like. Since we stumbled on this blog ourselves, we had trouble picking which post to award. From the blog titled Mostly True Stories we chose the post from July 9, 2007 Warning! If You Think This Is Funny, You Are a Big Geek Like Me. Anyone who has ever taken a course taught by a total twit will relate to this post. The Rising Blogger is pleased to award Working Girl our Post of the Day.

Thank you! Now I’ve got to decide who I would like to nominate.
