Bullet Holes in the Mailbox

by JHSEsq on July 7, 2007

Steve describes himself as ““A complicated kind of guy”, “Funniest Son-of-a-Bitch I ever met”, “Oh no…not him!”, Often misunderstood, always a little incorrect, with an uncanny ability to disarm and intimidate at the same time…Whatever I have is yours.” He is the author of the blog Bullet Holes in the Mailbox. Steve is from Texas. The Rising Blogger salutes his Post of the Day titled Peach-Fuzz. It is the story of the love between a grandfather and his grandson. Steve writes, “One afternoon, out in the Orchard, there was a thunderous boom from the sky…I went running to Papa and hollered ”Its a gonna wain papa, run for the house” and I turned and ran as fast as I could. Granpa (sic) said he looked at the sky and there weren’t a cloud one. What I had heard was an F-111 breaking the sound barrier. I did not stop till I got to the house.” Steve lost his grandfather a couple of year’s ago. But he lives on in Steve’s stories. We are sure “Granpa” would be proud!

Thanks Judd…I’m not very good at being recognized or taking compliments or stuff like that…in fact, now that I think about it what I respond to best is criticism.…

Maybe what we need is a “Your Post Today Was Unacceptable”!!!

No, no one needs that.
