On the Lake Front

“Writ­ing for me has always been a love affair between ink and paper. To this day I love the feel of a book, new or old, between my fin­gers” writes Lara Croft on the face of her rel­a­tively new writ­ing pad — a blog named On The Lake Front. Every­thing about it is wom­anly and roman­tic; savvy and bold. In this essay enti­tled “A Love Affair” writ­ten May 25, 2007, Lara explores and shares with us what com­pelled her to con­tinue her pas­sion for writ­ing. Her story is a famil­iar one, and one that many bloggers/writers/website artists can relate to. “Blank paper seems to have always called to me say­ing: fill me, make me whole, com­plete. Even to this day, I love paper.“
But there is more to Lara’s jour­ney in these pages and through­out her lovely blog. We believe she deserves The Ris­ing Blogger’s Post of the Day award for excel­lence in writ­ing and hav­ing the courage to fol­low her dream.
