Ennui in the Grocery

The play­ers: A doc­tor halfway through her pedi­atric res­i­dency. A charm­ing patient who was a boy with can­cer of five-years-old. The patient’s fam­ily. The hos­pi­tal staff. Kara is the author of Ennui in the Gro­cery and she is shar­ing a short story she has sub­mit­ted to mag­a­zines. She por­trays her story’s char­ac­ters in a can­dor that is both sur­real and also has a ring of truth. We’d imag­ine Kara will do well with her sto­ries. The post of June 8, 2007 is titled Satel­lites, as is the story she is pitch­ing. Kara really seems to be a very tal­ented writer.
