Paula’s Playground

by Bud Weiser

How we deal with death tells as much about us as how we deal with life. We were very moved by Giving Sorrow Words published June 10, 2007, by the author of a blog that is better known for humor and wit than serious writing.

Paula of Paula’s Playground is a terrific writer who seems to really care about her readers. To weave a tale of grief and speak honestly without unnecessarily “over doing it” is a skill indeed. That’s why we chose this heartfelt and sad post as the Post of the Day.

Check out Paul’s entire blog. We know you will enjoy it and it will be time well spent!

I’m honored, humbled, surprised and speechless at receiving this recognition. I truly am. This means a lot to me.

The Rising Blogger has become a favorite blog to visit and discover wonderful bloggers and great writing. Thank you for including me.

I applaud your selection of not just this post, which was well written and very moving, but of Polli’s blog overall.

Polliwog’s Pond is one of my very favorite places to go and Polli has become one of my most treasured blogging friends. She is an amazing woman.

Thank you for recognizing her!

Rising Blogger Staff,

I put the new badge on and will update my links to your new URL as well. Thank you for honoring the memory of my dear friends. You helped make a very terrible time in my life a little brighter by letting me know people care.
