Bowleserised

by JHSEsq on June 13, 2007

Today’s blog is called Bowleserised. Bowleserised describes herself as “an Englishwoman abroad in East Berlin who likes good food, bad puns and nice swimming pools.” Her life is further complicated by the fact that her attempts to speak German does not always go well. Her post, Rorschach Test is about the new logo that England paid mucho euros for and is ugly and resembles several strange forms. We read her post before this all became fodder in the media. Jon Stewart did a rather humorous take on it this on The Daily Show. But, The Rising Blogger read it on her post first and Bowleser’s has just the right take on the subject. And she had it first! Congratulations, your post of June 4, 2007 is today’s Post of the Day!

Gosh, thank you!

Actually the blog is called “Bowleserised” as am I. “Das Leben ist kein Ponyhof” is sort of the tag line.

That Olympic logo is awful, but apparently they’re sticking to it.

Thanks for the heads up we’ve changed the title. I cannot believe they are sticking to that logo. I’ve spent some years in marketing and I was flabbergasted!
