Stephanie’s Place

Any­one who has gone through a divorce when there are chil­dren involved will relate to today’s Post of the Day. The ex-wife of our author Stephanie’s hus­band phoned look­ing for empa­thy because of the bad rela­tion­ship that Stephanie’s step­daugh­ter has with her own dad. A rela­tion that soured mostly because of the vin­dic­tive behav­ior of this same ex-wife. Stephanie didn’t have a lot to say to this mother, but wrote a rather thor­ough response on her blog. We hope for both the daugh­ter and her dad, Stephanie’s hus­band, that she mails this let­ter. At The Ris­ing Blog­ger we were very moved by this post. It is a story of things gone awry. And while we applaud Stephanie’s car­ing and thought­ful post, we even see areas that both Stephanie and her hus­band might have made dif­fer­ent choices that might have helped. The post is titled Let­ter to Her Mother and is as thought pro­vok­ing a post as any we’ve reviewed. The blog is called Stephanie’s Place.
