Stale Coffee

You are lucky when you have a strong sense of fam­ily. When we first read posts from today’s author that was our first impres­sion. In her pro­file Mau­reen writes, “I’m a mother, a daugh­ter, a wife, a com­puter geek, a full-time employee, a part-time artist, a bad gar­dener, a toy col­lec­tor, a clean freak & a pet lover … and while I’m try­ing to do all that, my coffee’s gone stale. Stale Cof­fee is the title of her blog and while Mau­reen gives us a view of her world, her love of fam­ily comes through loud and clear. The Ris­ing Blog­ger found the tale of a mother and daugh­ter who are on a quest, just for the sheer fun of it. It is also a story of meet­ing a celebrity, in this case Phil Keoghan, host of The Amaz­ing Race, and find­ing him as gra­cious and friendly as you can imag­ine.
