Your Mirror or Mine

by JHSEsq

Today’s post is rather life affirming. Our author Phara has experienced one of the worst things a parent could imagine. Eleven years ago her three-year-old son was diagnosed with leukemia. Three years later in 1999 things took a turn for the worse. The Make-A-Wish Foundation contacted Phara to lift her son’s spirits. Her son wanted to meet his favorite star, Robin Williams. And fortunately, Phara’s daughter was a perfect match for a bone marrow transplant. Phara’s blog is Your Mirror or Mine has contributed an excellent post. The post is entitled And Now the Rest of the Story tells of their visit with Robin and show us her kids today, who seem to be doing great! The Rising Blogger is please to award this post from April 25, 2007 our Post of the Day. You are a brave woman, Phara. Thanks for sharing your story!
