Breed ‘Em and Weep

Any­one who has waited for the results of med­ical tests can cer­tainly relate to Jenn Mattern’s May 1, 2007, post. Jenn’s writ­ing is com­pletely addict­ing. If there’s a ver­i­ta­ble buf­fet of Mommy Blog­gers out there, Breed ‘Em And Weep is that triple choco­late cake that makes you gain ten pounds just look­ing at it.

In today’s win­ning post, our hero­ine tries to get her hus­band to deci­pher a voice­mail mes­sage regard­ing med­ical tests. Attempt­ing to ascer­tain the results solely from the tone of voice of the staff mem­ber who left the mes­sage, Jenn prods her hus­band to par­tic­i­pate in a “let’s try to read someone’s mind” exer­cise. The post is both very humor­ous … and human.
