Dr. Blogstein

by JHSEsq

When some internet buddies and I decided to create this site, we had many reasons but the first two were: 1. To honor posts rather than blogs. 2. To give exposure to great posts.

Today’s nominee has no problem getting exposure. Dr. Blogstein seems to be a one-man or “doctor” publicity machine. Which, of course, is a good thing.

We are happy to announce that his March 3, 2006, entry entitled To Hell with Religion! is a worthy addition to our list of Post of the Day Award winners. It is hard to take on religion. But he absolutely gets it right when he argues that religion should be updated, commenting about the Ten Commandments: “Whether you believe in Allah or Jesus, Hashem or Buddha, you’re following rules and regulations that are thousands and thousands of years old. I mean, look at it this way: the United States has only been around for 230 years and already we have 27 amendments to our Constitution!”

His blog is funny and meaningful. It’s a great combo. Carry on, Doctor!
