Shout

Some­times when you start to read a post, you can be unfair. If, for any rea­son, the first three sen­tences don’t cap­ti­vate, you just stop read­ing. I’ve been guilty of that.

But when some­one nom­i­nates a post, I feel oblig­ated to get all the way through it. So it was with a post from Shout. A blog­ger in India who sim­ply calls her­self “H” began her post with a rant about the adver­tis­ing indus­try. I have friends in the indus­try so I had trou­ble wad­ing through the clichés and insults. But am I ever glad I did.

I won’t tell you more about For JR — you’re beau­ti­ful & you’ll always be because I might ruin it for you. Let me just say this: “H” wrote a per­fect post. I am so glad it was sent to my attention.
