Long Drives To Nowhere

by JHSEsq on April 17, 2007

It’s a good thing we’re not all destined to repeat the mistakes of our fathers,” Tammie Jean writes today’s Post of the Day winner.

From a site called Long Rides to Nowhere comes the heartfelt apology of an innocent five-year-old caught smack dab in the middle of racism — and too young to understand. Her award-winning post, We Should Have Been Friends is a must-read.

It is not a story we’ll not soon forget. We hope you don’t, either.

Congratulations, Tammie Jean.

Hi Judd! Thank you so much for recognizing one of my favorite posts. It’s one that makes me sad, yet hopeful that things do in fact change.
I love the idea of this blog, too. Sometimes I wonder if I’m missing out on a good blog because the latest post didn’t necessarily draw me in. I think I’ll really enjoy this roadmap to great posts and find some great blogs in the process…

this the exact same post that earned Tammie Jean a spot on my VIP list.

Great choice Judd.

That was a very poignant story told by Tammie Jean, and very well written.

You need a button on your blog to an email where people can nominate posts…

I have a few I would love to nominate, but I think privately is better.

here is one of mine I would nominate– (since I know who I am already)
